Day 6, August Calender and Dot Tiles Center

I forgot my camera today, so I take pictures tomorrow of what I missed.

The rosh today was D.F.

The students worked on filling in the numbers for the August Calender.

August is the month for the AB pattern. The students colored in a grid sheet with the pattern.

Part of kindergarten is doing individual centers. I showed the students how the use the Dot Tile center. They were able to spend some time working in the center.

The sight word today was "Green." They wrote the word on sentence strips and then put the card in their index box.

Please make sure your child is bringing his homework and the folder back each day. Tomorrow I will be sending home the September Scholastic Books. You have until Tueday to decide on books and send the form and money back to school.
