The story we read today.
I am sorry that I missed yesterday's conferences...I had a bad cold, but am feeling much better today.
Today we worked in our Thanksgiving Storybook. The students did their indian page. The book is a take off from the story: Brown Bear, Brown Bear. The indian page said: Indian, Indian what do you see?
The students cut out pictures of words that begin with T and glued them on a large T. They also did several worksheets with the letter T.
I also had them work in their phonics workbook. After all their work was finished, the students worked at different centers.
You child may have told you that we are now eating in the lunchroom. Pleae reinforce good table manners, sitting on their bottoms, using a napkin, and cleaning up any mess they may have made. Also, please do not send candy to school. I will not let them eat it.
